General terms and conditions for participation in training programmes and processing of personal data

These General terms and conditions for participation in training programmes and processing of personal data (hereinafter the "Terms and Conditions") shall apply between a registered participant (the "Customer") and Bonnier Business Media Sweden AB, reg. no. 556468-8892 (hereinafter designated "BBM"), in conjunction with participation in, and provision of, a training programme arranged by BBM. By registering for a training programme, the Customer confirms that he or she has read, understood, and undertakes to be bound by the Terms and Conditions, including BBM's personal data policy which constitutes part of the Terms and Conditions.
BBM's undertaking and the purpose of the training programme
Training programmes which BBM arranges are provided to the participants, including the Customer, in their capacity as traders or otherwise in respect of their profession.
BBM's undertaking comprises arranging training programmes which are aimed at providing the Customer with a relevant and professional transfer of knowledge in the relevant subject matter area.
The training programme's subject, time, sponsors, etc.
When the Customer registers, they select the BBM training programme in which they choose to participate. There is current information on each brand's site regarding the training programme's subject, speakers, times, location where it will be held, and so forth. BBM reserves the right to make changes to the training programme until the day on which the training programme takes place.
Payment and payment terms and conditions
The booking is binding and the participant fee is paid with a charge card or against invoice. Invoicing takes place in conjunction with an application. The payment terms are 30 days. In the event of late payment, interest on arrears at the rate of 2.2% per month, as well as a reminder fee of SEK 60, shall be payable. Bonnier Business Media does not charge any invoice fees for an ordinary invoice.
All prices are subject to the addition of value added tax at the rate of 25% pursuant to law.
Cancellation and assignment
The Customer's registration for participation in BBM's training programme is binding. In the event of cancellation up to and including thirty (30) days prior to the training programme, the entire participant fee shall be refunded. Thereafter, the Customer may assign the seat to another person or choose to rebook for another presentation of the training programme or another training programme organised by BBM.
In the event of rebooking 1-14 days prior to the start of the course, a rebooking fee of SEK 700, exclusive of VAT, shall be invoiced. The participant shall notify BBM in writing, not later than the start of the training programme, that rebooking or replacement of the participant is desired. Rebooking or replacement of the participant becomes effective after the participant has received a confirmation from BBM.
If the Customer chooses to assign their seat to another person, in order to be entitled to participate in the training programme, such person must also personally confirm that he or she has read, understood, and undertakes to be bound by the Terms and Conditions, including BBM's personal data policy.
Processing of personal data
As a consequence of the Customer's registration for and participation in the service constituted by BBM's training programme, BBM and the Bonnier Group will store and process the personal data which the Customer provides to enable BBM to perform its undertakings pursuant to this agreement, and for marketing, statistics, and analysis, as well as for internal administrative purposes in accordance with the provisions of the personal data policy which constitutes a part of this agreement.
BBM will use this information to provide a name tag, a list of participants, and to contact the Customer with necessary information before the Conference. BBM and its sponsors may also use the Customer’s email address to provide the Customer with different offers, subject to the Customer’s right to opt out from such information. The Customer may change the information provided in the form.
